Quilt #4 Continues

A stained glass sneak peek! I’m in love with this quilt already.

So far (twenty or so blocks in) it’s proving to be a very good exercise in scale – adjusting the star size depending on the scraps used. Still haven’t got the hang of cutting the log cabin strips to the perfect size… I know there’s some mathematical ratio for the pattern, but when one is varying the size of the centre and the thickness of the strips, any sort of consistency disappears. Oh well. Maybe if ever I do a straight-ahead log cabin quilt, I’ll perfect the math?
