Instant Pop Art

A few weeks ago I picked up the strangest looking lens in an antique shop – solidly built, no focus control, has dials on the sides that operate colour filters built into it – I didn’t know what it was, but it looked like it would be fun to experiment with, so it came home with me. Turns out it’s an enlarging lens and the filters are there for colour correction – neat! It took a bit of fiddling to find the appropriate distance it needs to be from the sensor – which distance is the m42 adapter plus a section of plumbing tube I got at the hardware store – and the other day I finally took it out to play. Turn the filter dials, instant pop art!
