Three Lenses

I built three lenses today! One is macro (the Tardis picture), one is relatively normal with nice blurry background (the plant picture), and one is a surprising 6-inch long lens that is actually wide angle and infinity focused and sharp but doesn’t cover the whole sensor (obvious picture). All three have aperture control, although I haven’t made ways to control that easily, yet. I’m just impressed I managed to get things in focus! All three of these are “human-powered”, wherein the photographer must move to select focus.

Now to take them out into the wild and see what happens… and then decide if they’re worthy of Sugru finalizing. One is held together merely by friction; one with a rubber band; the third, with electrical tape. They’re less than sturdy, but.. they work!
