Pictured: heliotrope, in the Stanley Park rose garden. One of my favourite smells (the heliotrope, i mean; though the rose garden is pretty great too.)

I took the homebrew macro and the other homebrew slightly-less-macro (it needs a name) lenses out to the park for some testing this morning. I LOVE the macro lens! It’s sharp and fast and turns the background so smoothly out of focus. Now I just need to devise a way to mount it on the camera, as holding it in front of the sensor isn’t the greatest. I mean, it’s not terrible, but it’s not the greatest. Hmmmmm.
